How Our Provider Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who You Talk To
A lot of people picture a big office full of tree experts. In practice, Principleauthorities Tree Service is a referral service, and the work belongs to independent providers. When you reach out, your request goes to a local provider in our network. That provider, or someone who schedules for it, is who you will speak with about your tree.
What Happens When You Reach Out
The steps are simple.
- You share the basics: where the tree is, how big it looks and what it is near.
- Your request is passed to a provider that serves your area.
- The provider contacts you to talk through the job and may visit to look at it.
- You get a written estimate and decide what to do next.
Hours vary by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What to Ask an Independent Provider
A good provider will not mind questions. Try these:
- Are you licensed and insured as local rules require? Can I see proof?
- Will the tree come down in sections or in one piece, and why?
- How will you protect my roof, fence, lawn and drain lines?
- Is cleanup and hauling in the estimate, or extra?
- Do you recommend stump grinding, and is it priced separately?
- Can you help document damage if I need to file a claim?
- What could change the price once work begins?
Tree removal costs vary by tree size, access and risk. Typical U.S. jobs can range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, so always get the price in writing.
You Are in Control
Myth: once you send a request, you have to go ahead. Reality: you do not. You can compare estimates, ask for changes or say no. There is no obligation. Take the time to understand the plan before anyone starts work.
